On May 13, 2020, Gov. Ron DeSantis released a letter to the National Marine Fisheries Service regarding Florida’s nominations for the Gulf of Mexico and South Atlantic Fishery Management Councils. CCA Florida worked with the Governor’s office, FWC and other partners to recommend these seats be filled by individuals who represent the recreational angler. We thank the Governor for nominating, Chester Brewer and Phil Dyskow, for the South Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico Council, respectively.
